Christmas in Hooliganville

Once upon a time, in a land far away

Lived the Hooligans of Hooliganville, U.S. of A.

They ran and they chased and they frapped the days away.

After all this is Hooliganville, what more can we say.

There was Frosty, the therapy dog extraordinaire

And Tarquin who gave Scotty kisses with love and great care.

They never chewed shoes or failed to obey.

After all this is Hooliganville, what more can we say.

Even Onslo the cat had no sins to confess.

Not one bloody mouse, not one tiny mess.

He waved at the birds and blew kisses their way.

After all this is Hooliganville, what more can we say.

In ‘06 a new Foldie joined the Hooligan crew.

Daisy, a spitfire, knew just what to do.

Big Onz was delighted to learn cat play.

After all this is Hooliganville, what more can we say.

Tarquin was also quite happily smitten.

He wanted to romp and play with this kitten.

A romance where so many differences lay?

Who knows, this is Hooliganville, what more can we say.

In summer the beach was the perfect place to be

With warm sun and sand and just so much to see.

Or, perhaps their private pool was the place for the day.

After all this is Hooliganville, what more can we say.

At Christmas they celebrated as only Hooligans can.

On Dasher, on Dancer, on Frosty and Tarq-Man.

Even stockings were hung with Scotties on display.

After all, this is Hooliganville, what more can we say.

And the tree in Hooliganville was something quite grand

With Scottie ornaments and twinkle lights and Onslo close at hand.

Then as time drew near they all watched for the sleigh

After all this is Hooliganville what more can we say.

But Christmas is a time to banish sadness and despair,

So the Hooligans brought Christmas joy to happily share.

With Santa Frosty and Hoot Mon Tarq the party was so gay.

After all this is Hooliganville what more can we say.

Soon the Hooligans were nestled all snug in THE BED

While visions of squeaky toys danced in their heads.

Mountains of Frosty Paws, catnip, and Big Mean Kitty for play,

After all this is Hooliganville, what more can we say.

As the Hooligans lay waiting for Santa to appear,

They thought back of the fun they'd had this past year.

Of good food and good friends, both at home and away.

After all this is Hooliganville what more can we say.

They'd traveled to shows; Frosty starred in a book.

They'd found seashells, even conch shells, once they knew where to look.

There'd been days on the beach, and long walks in the sun.

There'd been adventures and chases, just a year full of fun.

For the Hooligans there was never an ugly, dark day.

After all this is Hooliganville what more can we say.

In ‘08 the Hooligans had another great year.

They romped and they played; spread lots of good cheer.

“Nurse” Frosty wrote a book read throughout the land.

And they cranked up the Hooliganmobile for adventures most grand.

They traveled to places both near and far away,

After all this is Hooliganville what more can we say.

As always the beach was their most favorite spot.

Where they stopped for lunch at a bistro so hot

That exotic foods were delivered to them in a jiffy

By waitresses on wheels and really quite spiffy.

Then bathed and brushed in THE BED they happily lay,

After all this is Hooliganville what more can we say.
